4. Fight and Loot
Begin the excavation and prepare for waves of enemies.

Runic Monsters can be extremely tanky and may include mini-bosses.

Open chests, collect artifacts, and defeat all monsters to finish the zone.

Fighting Olroth, Origin of the Fall
If your Logbook is Level 79+, and the silver skull icon is present, Olroth will spawn after a certain number of monsters are defeated.

What to Expect:
Olroth is a multi-phase boss with powerful AoE attacks, elemental damage, and summon mechanics.

Builds with high elemental resistance, mobility, and Path of exile currency sustain fare best.

Upon defeat, Olroth can drop unique Expedition gear, and killing him at Levels 79 to POE currency for sale 82 unlocks 8 Atlas Passive Points.
